Running on schedule:
Many women ask if we run on schedule. We make every attempt to do so, yet, when a patient requires extra care or has an emergency, our priority is to respond to those needs. We urge you to call ahead of your scheduled appointment to confirm that we are running on time and thank you in advance for your understanding.
Some women schedule their visits far in advance. We would like to offer you a time that is most convenient for your schedule, so we encourage you to plan for future appointments.
Where we practice and attend births:
Our office is conveniently located across the street from the Time Warner Building on 58th Street between eighth and ninth avenues. If you would like to go for a walk before or after your visit, Central Park south is a block away. Public transportation is easily accessible by bus and by subway. The Columbus Circle subway station is less than one block away.
We attend births at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Birthing Center. Located on Tenth Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets, the hospital is only one and a half blocks away from the office.
Back-up Physicians:
We are pleased to have a wonderful relationship with a tremendous group of physicians who are supportive of midwifery care. They provide us with 24 hour coverage in the event that their involvement becomes necessary.
